AquaLife Conservancy is a legally registered Ghanaian non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to marine and freshwater biodiversity conservation. We focus on all life forms of small and megafauna in both marine and freshwater ecosystems and design and implement pragmatic conservation actions to save them from extinction.
Our vision is to help develop a society where marine and freshwater biodiversity are valued and protected.
AquaLife Conservancy exists to promote the long-term conservation of marine and freshwater biodiversity through research, data synthesis, education, grassroots awareness campaigns and capacity building.

Utilize scientific findings to educate and influence government and the general public actions in achieving long-lasting conservation impacts.
We use online, local media, print and social media to share our research findings beyond the boundaries of scientific publications.
Implement biodiversity conservation projects, conduct community-driven awareness campaigns, link-up with all stakeholders and form local conservation groups to effect attitudinal change on marine and freshwater resources.
We dialogue with key stakeholders on alternative livelihood options, build their capacity in that regard and provide support for implementation.
Organize capacity building programmes for local stakeholders, students and amateur conservation biologists in marine and freshwater biodiversity.
